The whole new world

The economies of the world are expanding rapidly and we are in the era of globalisation, specially since late 1980's when the companies started expanding its horizons and opening its branches in different countries and hence leading to immigration whether its in search of education, better work opportunities.

Since I have been working overseas and staying their for now over 5 years I have seen an enormous change in terms of number of people migrating from other countries. One day I was going to work in the tram and was thinking what will be the world 100 years after and created a small little imagination that I would like to share with you in this blog.

As the organisations are expanding we have seen more and more people from different parts of the world working in the same organisation to achieve a common goal i.e. success of the company that will in turn lead to their success. You will see various retailers from different ethnicity running the outlets and doing business with all kind of customers irrespective of race or caste. Similarly when you go to a school you will see students from different ethnicity studying in the same class, they interact with each other play and attend parties together.

In the above paragraph I mentioned all the instances in which people interact because they have a common goal. All the employees want to be successful and so they work with each other. The businesses such as retailer wants to sell its products and doesn't care if he/she is selling to a Chinese,Indian or Australian as all of them will pay an equal price. Similarly students wants to get good quality education.

This interaction doesn't only remain at business level but sometimes becomes personal reach to another level i.e. love and respect for each other and may lead to marriages in some cases. You may see an Indian marrying an American or a Chinese marrying an Australian. Since I live in Melbourne that is the hub of multiculturalism, I have seen cases in which people from different ethincitiy have come together to spend life together, because love doesn't have any boundaries.

The globalisation is increasing and so the chances that more and more people from different ethnicity will interact and hence$ the probability of marriages between different ethnicity will increase. Have you ever thought what will happen after 100 years from now, when a Chinese/Aussie pair give birth to a child what will be his/her race. Similarly when Indian/American pair will give birth to a child what will be his/her race. Now when both the kids grow up and marry each other what will be their race i.e. it will be a blend of Chinese/Aussie/Indian/American. Belive it or not this is the future.

The inspiration behind this blog was that utlimately the whole world will be one country and we will be the citizens of the world then why are we even bothering about the topics called racism, when your child/grand child can be a mix of all the races and ethinicity. I feel the words "Racism" and "Racist" should be eliminated from the dictionary as these words recall the past that will not help people to rise in the future.

At the end I would like to say, would you like if your future generation will suffer from identity crisis just because their parents were from different ethnicity.
